Note : Details , We have had the piece under the microscope
and we an date the piece to around the mid 17th Century ie 1650 ish .
Also the union flag is pre irish , other way 
we can date the piece.
We think the piece is british as it would be teasonous
for a dutch artist to paint a british
battle scene ! So the frame is not oringinal to the painting

REMEMBER before c. 1830 it was more common than not for 
artists NOT to sign there works ,you where mean't to know 
who the artist was by the style /hand , but this has been lost over time.
