was the son of Thomas Whittle,The Elder, (as he became known). 
Like his Father, he was a landscape painter who painted with great detail,
and with a rich palette. He lived in Surrey.
He exhibited at The Royal Academy, London
, The Royal Society of British Artists (Suffolk Street)
The Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham, Royal Hibernian Academy,
and The Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
